‘The Dark Side of Moon’ to vie at Realtime Int’l Film Festival

‘The Dark Side of Moon’ by Reza Naseri Saray is to vie at Realtime Int’l Film Festival in Nigeria.

‘The Dark Side of Moon’ by Reza Naseri Saray has been shortlisted to vie at the Realtime International Film Festival (RTF) in Nigeria.

The 5th edition of the Nigerian film event will host the 1-min Iranian short flick in its short film competition program.

‘The Dark Side of Moon’ is the story of a detective who was involved in a chain murder case at Tehran in his youth and now, after 40 years, the killer threatens to kill him.

Included in the long list of awards and nominees are best trailer award from the 2019 Košice International Monthly Film Festival, jury prize for best short film at the Lisbon Film Rendezvous (2020) and best trailer of the month at the 2020 Monthly Film Festival (TMFF) .

As ifilm English website reported earlier, ‘Building No. 63’, written and directed by Nazanin Sadat Hosseini, is also another Iran attendee at the event.

RTF aims to “to build a truly International, all-inclusive and remotely accessible Film Festival”. It champions an artistic baseline where equity and openness are enhanced among creative artists, filmmakers and film enthusiasts.

The Realtime International Film Festival was slated to take part on June 7-12, 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers have decided to hold the festival online from April 7th to 13th, 2020.
